All Coaches, Parents, and Spectators Please remember that we are only allowed to be on the fields behind the school and are not to enter the school grounds for any reason. So if you see children heading into the school, please ask them not to. This will keep us in good standing with the school and allow us to continue to use the fields. The Horsethief Canyon Homeowner Association has asked us to remind the parents of the league to please keep your children off of the slopes surrounding the fields. If you see children playing on the slopes please ask them not to. This goes for the slopes around the school fields also. Finally, a couple seasons ago HCSA was forced to replace all of the goals. We had to replace them due to damage caused by people hanging on them. So, if you see anyone climbing on or hanging from the goals, please ask them not to.

Let The Games Begin This weekend is the official start of the season and there are a few things we would like to remind you about. Please keep the kids off the slopes surrounding the fields and don’t let them climb on the goals.
We are only allowed to use the fields behind the school and are not allowed anywhere else in the school.
No Dogs of any size are allowed at the games.
No motorized vehicles are allowed on the fields.
Please pick up your trash.
Setting up the goals is the responsibility of the first teams playing on a field.
Taking down the goals is the responsibility of the last team playing on a field.
Treat the referee’s and coaches with respect. They are all giving up their time to support this league and without them we don’t play.
Finally, have fun and cheer for your team!!!
Lost and Found If you have lost anything on the fields during this season, we may have it. Please send an e-mail to info@horsethiefsoccer.com with a description of what you lost.

What you need know To be ready to start practice some items your child will need are listed below. Along with some things to remember. Ball Size 3 for U-5 thru U-8 Size 4 for U-10 and U-12 Size 5 for U-14 and up
Shin Guards - These must be worn at all practices and games. Without them your child will not be allowed to play. Cleats - Soccer cleats are optional, but are very highly recommended. Baseball cleats are not to be worn for practice or games as the toe cleat can cause injuries. Water Bottle - The weather is warm and your child will need plenty of water before, during, and after practice. No Jewelry - Jewelry is not allowed on the soccer fields. This includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other exposed piercings. This is for safety reasons. If your child is wearing any of these items at practice or on game day, they will be asked to remove them before being allowed to play. Medical alert bracelets may be worn, but must be covered up with tape. Small religious medallions may also be worn, but must be tucked inside their shirts.
