About Us

The Horsethief Canyon Soccer Association is dedicated to providing youth soccer for the residents of the Temescal Valley area in Southern California.  We currently provide a recreational program for players age 4 to 18 and have just entered into the competitive division with our signature league teams, the Outlaw FC.

Using guidelines set up by the California Youth Soccer Association and United State Youth Soccer, H.C.S.A was formed to create an environment in which the children of Horsethief Canyon and the Temescal Valley could learn the fundamentals of soccer while learning good sportsmanship and the spirit of competition.  To accomplish these goals our younger divisions play “small sided soccer” to allow them more touches on the ball and the chance to improve their skills with more involvement in the game.  In addition, we do not keep score or standing for our Under 5, 6, and 8 divisions to allow them to focus on development and learning the skills of the game.
